30 Seconds to Mars (también Thirty Seconds to Mars) es una banda estadounidense de rock alternativo formada en 1998 en Los Ángeles (California). Integrada originalmente por tres miembros: Jared Leto (voz, guitarra), Matt Wachter (bajo, sintetizador) y Shannon Leto (batería), a quienes más tarde se les uniría el guitarrista Solon Bixler. Después de la publicación de su álbum debut, el guitarrista Solon Bixler salió de la banda debido a problemas durante su primera gira, poco después fue sustituido por el actual guitarrista Tomo Milicevic. Después de la salida de Matt Wachter (ahora en Angels & Airwaves), Jared Leto se convirtió en el bajista de la banda. Hasta la fecha, la agrupación ha vendido alrededor de 11 millones de copias en todo el mundo. La banda ha recibido numerosos reconocimientos y premios, tienen un total de total 50 premios de aproximadamente 70 nominaciones. Entre sus premios más destacados están cuatro MTV Europe Music Awards. Además el pasado diciembre consiguieron entrar en el libro Guinness de los récords, obteniendo el récord de mayor número de conciertos en una misma gira, más de 300 durante su última gira.
